Christmas Overnight Oats (vegan| gluten-free)


Since it’s no longer Christmas, I thought it made sense to post the Christmas-orientated recipes up before any of the others- though I know it’s probably frowned upon given that it’s now January and is in fact too late, but you can just remove ‘Christmas’ from the title and maybe replace it with something like ‘spiced’ or ‘special’ or even ‘new year’ – either will work if you convince yourself enough!


And as for the recipe…

Serving size:

Makes 1 bowl


  • 50g oats
  • 150ml plant milk
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp mixed nuts
  • Candied peel (optional)


  1. Stir the milk, spices and syrup through the oats and leave in a bowl overnight.
  2. Top with chopped nuts and fruit just before serving.

Enjoy your morning with that Christmassy feeling (even though it’s no longer Christmas).
