Dates haven been around for thousands of years and from what history tells us, they originated from the Middle East. Possibly first from Iran, but the Egyptians were the first to make wine from them. There are so many different varieties such as Barhi, Medjool, Halawy, Dayri just to name a few. Having made their way around the world, we have been graced outside of the Middle East with their existence!

I find these Ferrero Rocher dates the perfect, nourishing go-to candy or post-workout snack. A good source of minerals and just a convenient, delicious little bite-sized nibble, always great to have around. They can also last quite some time in or out of the fridge (longer in the fridge) in an airtight container, though I can’t stop so they don’t last long around me!
