Red Velvet Cake Balls
These healthy no-bake Red Velvet Cake Balls are not only vegan, but also gluten-free, flourless and come with a protein boost. Super simple and easy, they don’t even require any cooking.

- 120 g almond flour
- 3 tbsp shredded coconut plus extra for decorating
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp beetroot powder
- 50 ml plant milk
- 9 medjool pitted dates
Place all ingredients into a blender and blitz until smooth.
Remove and shape into balls.
Dust with shredded coconut.
Chill in fridge for 30 minutes.
- Almond flour can be replaced with coconut flour or oat flour.
- Dates can be replaced with other dried fruits such as figs, apricots or prunes, those these may alter the flavour slightly.
- Protein powder can be added to give an additional protein boost.
